Resolved Question: Any comic writers here-can you please help me with this idea?

Hi. I tried going elsewhere and getting people to answer was like pulling teeth.I'm writing comics about streetfighters, and the main villain wants to turn his town into a safe-haven for criminals. In order to do that, he'd have to overthrow the town's government and get rid of law enforcement. How can I do this without ripping off Darkwing Duck? In Darkwing Duck, the bad guys used their powers to get rid of the cops and overthrow the city gov't, and they put a force field around the city to keep the military from going in. But my characters aren't supervillains.I have a main villain who's a clone of the main hero. After the clone was created he went on a journey of self-discovery to find out who he is. How can he learn the value of money, and what would lead up to him wanting to take over the city? The villain was just created, and he doesn't understand that you need money to survive. How would you introduce him to money? That's what I want to do.Someone said:One way you could go about it is as he is on his journey of self discovery, he finds himself confronted with hunger, poverty, famine and no shelter. He asks around for free shelter but everyone denies him everything he asks because he has no money. Then, quite separately, have him see a wealthy man just walk into a room and act all big shot and cool and that he throws his money around and gets whatever (and whoever) he wants without a hitch. That wealthy man doesn't have to be a bad guy, in fact, he might even take the clone under his wing for a while, maybe feed him clothes him and so forth. Then your wealthy man could die and he could give all his money to his family and have your clone leave with the well defined notion in his mind that money is the all powerful object in this world. Having had a small taste of it, he would then return to whichever city he came from and wanting to take over it. This would solidify in his mind how money is important and what value it has and that "when money talks, people listen" and he could want to use that to take over the city. This is what I came up with:The villain quickly learns of what money is and it's value by watching someone using E-trade on a lap-top. He takes a book out the library about learning how to disguise himself, and poses as a local gov't official so he can overtake it. That would work. How about the villain picks the guy up and threatens to drop him into shark-infested water? Then the hero shows up and they fight.Or, how about this idea? The villain learns about the value of money from an old man doing online trading on a lap top in the park. He gives the clone s a few dollars and the clone gets a "taste" of the money, thinking it makes him important. He later steals a kid's sandwich and eats it, and the kid's guardian sees him do it and waltzesover to him and says, "why don't you pick on someone your own size?", and lo and behold, the clone knocks him down and demands money from him and when the man refuses the clone holds him over shark-infested waters. The heroshows up and he and the clone duke it out.Do you like this idea? Is this sinister enough? Originally the clone was going to torment a pack of scouts for their Swiss Army knives till the hero showed up.What would you suggest to happen? I'm open to suggestions. This is a kid's comic.I'm open to your input on this. This was a tabloid-sized, 10-inch by 15-inch, 36-page magazine with a card-stock, non-glossy cover. The group has a lot of young individuals promoting passion, moderation, religious tolerance, women's rights, freedom to express, and conserving different cul tures. This also allowed Marvel to capitalize on an influx of new readers unfamiliar with comics but familiar with the characters through the film and TV franchises. PET film, polyethylene or polypropylene storage bags are popular, and allow a comic to be "bagged" in a contained environment, and have become the traditional way of storing comics. The trend was taken to a higher level in the 1986 miniseries Watchmen by writer Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbons, which was published by DC but took place outside the "DC Universe" with new characters. You will want to learn how the rest of the industry goes about grading physical condition and what your individual comics are worth. Their Civil Rights movements are taking place in the Middle East.
